Christian Formatiom for All Ages
Faith Formation is an important piece of every person's faith journey. Growing in our knowledge and understanding of Scripture, Jesus' teachings, and life application of the Word helps plant us in faith and keeps us rooted in Christ.
Children's Sunday School
Our children gather to sing and dance in praise, share lessons building the foundations of faith and a knowledge of scripture, participate in arts and crafts, and come together in prayer.

Sunday School teachers and assistants are Safe Sanctuary trained to provide a safe and secure environment for children to grow in their faith and knowledge of Scripture.
"Class Meeting" Bible Study
“Class Meeting” is a Bible study where we explore various books of the Bible and grow our understanding of scripture.
Bible Study meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm in the lounge/gathering room (located up the stairs, through the double doors, and at the far end of the hall).
Please make sure to bring your Bible (or at least a Bible app!) with you. If you do not have a Bible please let us know.
Nursery
Use of the nursery is available during the service, however, there currently is no nursery attendant.

Adult Sunday School
In Adult Sunday school class, (currently open to both adults and teens) we gather together as children of God to grow deeper in our faith, to grow deeper in our understanding of Jesus Christ, to grow deeper in our fellowship, and to reflect on the ways we can share that in our community and carry that faith into the world.

Weekly Faith Focus
Faith Focus is a weekly publication for at-home study and devotion. It is developed to examine and reflect upon the Scripture that was used during Sunday’s worship for deeper understanding and spiritual growth.
The Weekly Faith Focus can be accessed through the "Sermons" tab at the top of the page or via the Rome First UMC Facebook page. If you do not have access to a computer in order to receive this, please let the church know and we will mail you a hard copy.
